Beyond non-judgment is a place of fierce appreciation for who you are. I believe in growth, healing and celebrating as we find spaces to explore our deepest selves. I strive to incorporate empathy, warmth, and connection into each session, and appreciate that sometimes it can be hard to share your story. As we build a foundation of trust and understanding, it’s my hope that I can make space for you to share what you are comfortable with, in your own time. We start from where you are on your path and grow from there.
One of my passions is treating trauma with a gentle approach. This includes building an understanding of what trauma is, and learning how to ease and support our body to enter a calmer state. With trauma, the nervous system can become overwhelmed and lead to physical and emotional symptoms of distress. Feelings of helplessness, struggles within relationships and difficulty feeling motivated are just a few examples. My favourite part of working with clients who have experienced trauma is seeing the positive changes that ripple out into a client’s life after receiving healing experiences within therapy.
Another area I am delighted to work in is assisting individual clients who are exploring a range of relationship styles, including polyamory and non-monogamy. I am also eager to work with clients of all genders and sexual orientations and feel honoured to witness beautiful diversity in self expression.
I am currently accepting new clients as a student therapist at LifeRoots and can’t wait to walk alongside as you explore and heal. Please send me an email to receive a 20-minute complimentary consultation when you’re ready to start. I look forward to meeting you!
